X-PINJECT – ControlByWeb® | Expansion Bus Power Injector

Description

The ControlByWeb® X-PINJECT is an expansion bus DC power injector designed to enhance power distribution for X-400, X-400C, and X-600M modular controller systems. When deploying large control setups with numerous expansion modules, the X-PINJECT provides supplemental current across the expansion bus, preventing power drops and ensuring reliable module operation.

Featuring two 10-conductor ribbon cable connectors and a dedicated 9–28 VDC power input terminal, the X-PINJECT isolates DC power from the main controller while allowing high-speed communication signals to pass through uninterrupted. By supplying power directly to connected modules downstream (to the left of the injector), it prevents any ribbon cable segment from exceeding the maximum 1.7 A current rating. Multiple power injectors can be placed along an expansion chain, providing a safe, scalable power management solution for complex industrial automation setups.
