Description

The ControlByWeb® X-DTS-S12C is a durable, water-resistant digital temperature sensor designed for reliable monitoring in diverse environments. Featuring a 4-meter (~12 ft) cable, this probe offers significantly more reach than standard sensors, making it ideal for monitoring locations further from the controller. The sensor is encapsulated in a stainless steel probe, with the internal element thermally coupled to the steel tube wall to ensure rapid, accurate temperature response.

This probe is compatible with any ControlByWeb product capable of monitoring temperature. With an IP66 rating, it is dust-tight and protected against water spray. For applications involving continuous water immersion, the use of a thermowell or protective enclosure is required to ensure long-term sensor integrity.
