The ControlByWeb® GRI-28C-W is a compact indoor magnetic contact sensor designed for remote status monitoring of doors, windows, cabinets, and security or control enclosures. Comprising a magnetic reed switch and a matching magnet, this sensor provides precise open/close detection to safeguard facilities, equipment panels, and restricted storage areas.

Engineered with bottom-located screw terminals for clean wire routing directly into surface raceways, the GRI-28C-W supports both Normally Open (N/O) and Normally Closed (N/C) circuit configurations (Form C SPDT logic). It offers an operating gap distance of up to 1 in (25.4 mm) on standard surfaces and 0.625 in (15.9 mm) when mounted on steel frames. When connected to any ControlByWeb digital input, the sensor seamlessly translates physical state changes into automated system triggers, allowing your controller to send instant email or text alerts and initiate local or remote relay operations.
