The ControlByWeb® X-17S is a versatile 4 relay and 4 input expansion module designed to add both control and monitoring capability to an X-400™ or X-600M™ system. Featuring 4 Form-A (SPST) relays and 4 optically isolated digital inputs, the X-17S is ideal for applications that need moderate-load switching alongside dependable input monitoring in one compact module. Its optical isolation helps separate field devices from low-voltage control circuitry, improving safety and reducing electrical noise interference.
Built to expand easily over the ribbon-cable expansion bus, the X-17S supports scalable system growth without requiring a separate power supply. It is well suited for equipment control, alarm panel monitoring, pump and fan management, center pivot systems, simple tank monitoring, and facility automation. With removable terminals, clear LED status indication, and flexible input and relay functions, the X-17S delivers a practical and reliable expansion solution for industrial, commercial, and OEM applications.
