Description
The Macromatic ISDUM4 is a 4-channel intrinsically safe control relay engineered to safely isolate and monitor up to four switch inputs originating from hazardous locations. Operating on a universal control supply of 102–132 VAC or 10–125 VDC, this relay eliminates the need for bulky explosion-proof switch enclosures in classified environments by limiting electrical energy sent to field switches. It is certified for use in Class I, Division 1 (Groups A, B, C, D), Class II, Division 1 (Groups E, F, G), and Class III, Division 1 hazardous locations.
Housed in a compact 2.36 in (60 mm) wide enclosure, the ISDUM4 features 8 top-mounted DIP switches allowing independent configuration for each channel between Standard or Inverse logic, as well as instant response (<50 ms) or a fixed 2-second trip time delay. Equipped with pluggable terminal blocks for simplified panel wiring, four electrically isolated 5A SPST-NO output contacts, and clear LED status indicators (Power, Input, and Output), the ISDUM4 delivers reliable intrinsically safe control for industrial automation, chemical processing, and wastewater applications. Note: The ISDUM4 relay module must be installed in a suitable enclosure located in a non-hazardous area.
