The ControlByWeb® X-DAQ-5I-I is a robust, full-featured Ethernet-based data acquisition device designed for reliable remote monitoring. Equipped with five optically-isolated discrete inputs, it allows users to monitor the state of equipment, sensors, or switches over a local network or the internet. The module is fully configurable via any standard web browser, requiring no additional programming or proprietary software.
Engineered for versatility, the X-DAQ-5I-I supports a wide range of protocols, including Modbus/TCP, SNMP, and XML, ensuring seamless integration into existing SCADA or IIoT environments. Each input functions as an event counter and can be configured to trigger email alerts based on user-defined alarm conditions. The device also supports peer-to-peer communication, allowing it to directly trigger ControlByWeb relays across a network. It is housed in a rugged enclosure suitable for DIN rail or wall mounting and is available with either 9–28 VDC power or combined POE and 9–28 VDC options.
