The ControlByWeb® FridgeAlert (FA100) is an industrial-grade monitoring system engineered specifically for refrigerators and freezers in production facilities, warehouses, restaurants, and medical environments. Designed to prevent costly inventory loss, the FridgeAlert provides intelligent, user-programmable alerts that utilize specific temperature thresholds and time delays to eliminate false alarms caused by routine defrost cycles or restocking events. The system features a 3.5″ IPS capacitive touchscreen for local, at-a-glance status verification and can be managed via a built-in, lightweight web interface.
Built for reliability, the system supports a wide range of sensor inputs, including 10 1-Wire sensors, one RTD, one thermocouple, and a dedicated door contact sensor. The device offers highly flexible connectivity options—including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and optional cellular (FA100C model)—ensuring connectivity in diverse infrastructure environments. In the event of a power failure, a built-in 9V battery backup keeps the device operational, allowing it to continue logging data and sending critical power-loss notifications for up to 5 days.
