Description

The ControlByWeb® X-16S™ is an 8-channel analog input expansion module designed to scale the sensing capacity of X-400™ or X-600M™ controllers. Featuring a 24-bit A/D converter, the X-16S provides high-resolution measurement suitable for precision industrial applications. Inputs can be configured for either single-ended or differential readings, offering the versatility required for a wide range of sensor types, including level, pressure, flow, and soil moisture transducers.

The module connects directly to the host controller via a polarized ribbon cable, which handles both power and communication, eliminating the need for separate power supplies. With a built-in 5.0V reference output, the X-16S simplifies the integration of potentiometers and other resistance-based sensors. Its compact, rugged design makes it an ideal solution for facility and process monitoring where precision instrumentation is required.
