Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) generate voltage spikes and reflective waves that damage motor windings and cables. They also create common mode voltage that leads to bearing pitting, frosting, fluting, cable degradation, and nuisance VFD faults. The microNexus addresses all of it.
This filter reduces both common mode and differential mode voltages and currents — virtually eliminating harmful bearing currents while protecting windings and cables. Unlike partial solutions such as common mode chokes, inductive absorbers, or shaft grounding rings that require maintenance and periodic replacement, the microNexus provides a complete and compact electrical solution.
