Description

The GE SAUV1 Undervoltage Release is a circuit breaker accessory designed for compatible GE Spectra RMS circuit breakers. Operating with a 120 V AC or 125 V DC control supply, it provides automatic circuit breaker tripping when the accessory control voltage is lost or drops significantly below its rated level.

The SAUV1 is designed to trip the circuit breaker when the control voltage falls to approximately 35% to 70% of its rated value, helping protect electrical systems against undervoltage conditions. The accessory supports 50/60 Hz AC operation and has a peak current rating of 200 mA.

For applications requiring delayed tripping, the SAUV1 can be used with the compatible SPUVTD time-delay unit, which provides an adjustable delay range of 0.1 to 1.0 seconds. This makes it suitable for electrical distribution systems and industrial installations where controlled undervoltage protection is required.
