Description

The ABB RT2E Thermal Overload Relay (113721) is a three-pole motor protection device designed for compatible ABB CL Series IEC contactors and motor starters. Featuring an adjustable current range of 30 to 43 A and a Class 10 trip characteristic, it helps protect motors against sustained overload conditions by triggering the connected contactor to interrupt the motor circuit.

Designed for industrial motor control applications, the RT2E features thermal overload protection, three-phase differential protection for phase imbalance, and automatic ambient temperature compensation between -25°C and +60°C. A front-mounted test button and trip indication support convenient testing and troubleshooting, while selectable manual or automatic reset configurations provide flexibility for different control applications.

The RT2E is designed for direct mounting on compatible CL05, CL06, CL07, CL08, CL09, and CL10 contactors. Its integrated normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) auxiliary contacts support control circuit integration, making it suitable for motor starters used in industrial machinery, manufacturing equipment, and electrical control panels.
