Description
The Mersen OTM1 Amp-Trap® Midget Fast-Acting Fuse provides economical, reliable general-purpose protection for lighting, heating, and non-inductive control circuits operating up to 250 VAC. Engineered for fast-acting response where time-delay characteristics are not required, this 1A midget fuse quickly clears overload and short-circuit conditions in non-motor applications.
Built in the compact 1-1/2″ x 13/32″ (10.3 x 38.1 mm) standard midget dimension, the OTM1 features tin-plated copper ferrule terminals and a durable insulating paper body. *(Note: Designed for supplemental protection and is not rated for branch circuit protection).*
Key Features
- Fast-Acting Response: Provides rapid current interruption for general-purpose circuits where overcurrent protection without time-delay is required.
- 250V AC Rating: Optimized for supplemental protection in non-inductive applications like lighting, heating, and control power circuits up to 250 VAC.
- Compact Midget Dimensions: Industry-standard 10.3 mm x 38.1 mm (1-1/2″ x 13/32″) footprint fits standard midget fuse holders and blocks.
- Tin-Plated Copper Terminals: High-conductivity ferrule connections ensure secure electrical contact and corrosion resistance.
- Durable Paper Body Construction: Molded with a robust paper insulating body for reliable structural integrity and arc containment.
