The Mersen J166 Class J Fuse Reducer allows the installation of lower-rated 60A Class J fuses into existing equipment clips rated for 100A. Designed to optimize overcurrent protection, these reducers enable facilities to replace oversized renewable or one-time fuses with appropriately sized time-delay fuses matching motor nameplate or circuit requirements.
Built for secure rejection-type compatibility, the J166 ensures that only Class J fuses fit into Class J clips. Each pair measures 1.08″ in diameter and 1.75″ in length (27.4 x 44.4 mm) and is rated up to 600 VAC. *(Note: Class J fuse reducers are not intended for bolt-on applications and are sold in pairs).*
