Description

The Mersen HSJ500 is an advanced 500A high-speed Class J fuse from the Amp-Trap® HSJ series, engineered to combine strict UL branch-circuit performance with exceptionally low I2t semiconductor protection. Rated for 600 VAC and 500 VDC, it protects sensitive power electronics such as diodes, SCRs, GTOs, and solid-state relays while satisfying standard NEC feeder and branch circuit requirements.

Featuring a robust blade-type terminal design with silver-plated copper connections, the HSJ500 offers a high-breaking interrupting capacity of up to 200 kA. Built with a durable GMG body, it measures 2.50″ in diameter and 8.00″ in length (63.5 x 203.2 mm) and is designed for standard clip mounting.
