Description

The ControlByWeb® GRI-4701-A is a heavy-duty, track-mounted magnetic contact sensor designed for reliable remote monitoring of residential, commercial, and industrial garage or overhead roll-up doors. Engineered to eliminate false alarms frequently caused by standard floor switches, this sensor mounts directly to the door rail, keeping sensitive switch components protected from vehicle traffic, heavy machinery, dirt, and water buildup.

Featuring a versatile Form C (SPDT) contact switch, the GRI-4701-A supports both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) wiring configurations. It accommodates an operating gap of up to 3 in (76.2 mm), ensuring dependable detection even on loose or shifting door tracks. Equipped with a 3 ft (0.9 m) armored cable for physical wire protection and a multi-angle adjustable bracket for left or right rail mounting, the sensor connects seamlessly to any ControlByWeb digital input to trigger automated email/text alerts, log events, or execute relay controls.
