The ABB EF45-45 Electronic Overload Relay (1SAX221001R1102) is a self-supplied, high-precision electronic overload protection device engineered for reliable motor protection. Designed to cover a wide current setting range from 15 to 45 A, this relay protects AC motors against overloads, phase failures, and phase unbalance without requiring an external auxiliary power supply.

Featuring selectable trip classes (10E, 20E, 30E) and integrated temperature compensation, the EF45-45 provides higher accuracy and faster response times compared to standard thermal overload relays. It connects directly beneath compatible ABB contactors (or standalone via single mounting kits) and features isolated 1 NO + 1 NC contacts, selectable manual/automatic reset, a trip-free mechanism, STOP/Test functions, and ATEX/IECEx certification for hazardous environments.
