The Mersen AJT8N is a time-delay 8A Class J fuse rated for 600V AC and 500V DC, designed to provide reliable current-limiting protection for main, feeder, branch, motor, transformer, and general-purpose circuits. The Amp-Trap 2000® AJT fuse features time-delay characteristics that help handle typical motor starting and transformer inrush currents while providing high interrupting and current-limiting performance. Its compact Class J design requires less mounting space than traditional Class RK fuses, making it a practical choice where panel space is limited.
